Introducing the GTA Aces, new Charter Member of the Klevr Super League

The Klevr Super League (KSL) is the premier development hockey league for U9, U8 and U7 players in Ontario. The Kelvr Super League is an alternative to traditional winter minor hockey opportunities for U7, U8, and U9 athletes. KSL will have Tier 1 and Tier 2 divisions in each age group (2015, 2016, 2017). KSL is committed to providing an affordable premier development experience in a safe, competitive, and fun environment. Athletes are not restricted by borders or boundaries and can play for programs that best meet their development goals not based on where they live.

The GTA Aces will run out of the Toronto area as well as Vaughan.

The GTA Aces will provide the opportunity for athletes to participate in a program that’s goal is to develop high level hockey players and create leaders both on and off the ice. All staff of KSL teams are qualified and fully insured. We have advanced player rules and officiating training that will result in ensuring a safe and fun development environment..

Our development philosophy consists of working with and empowering KSL franchises that have a shared fundamental focus on creating long term developmental plans for their athletes. We believe that it is essential to have a higher ratio of practice sessions to games in order to improve an athlete’s skills and performance in competition.  

We believe that consistent high-level instruction is required over a long period of time in order to reach optimal athletic development and that success should not be measured by short term wins and losses but rather on individual skill development and athletic growth within a team setting. Access to professional skills coaches and a minimum number for practice hours per week are mandatory requirements of acceptance into the KSL as a way of ensuring the athletes receive the best training and development possible.

This consistency and fundamental belief in coaching and development removes the interruptions of the present conventional hockey programs and results in limited player turnover and the development of high-level hockey players and leaders.  The KSL will set a new standard for hockey player development in Canada.
